Hi,
I am sure this question will have been asked a million times but I cant see a search function on this forum, if there is one please let me know where it is (I hope it's not obvious if there is one :blink: ).
I have a 1991 Mini that I have 13 x 7 wheels with good road tyres on and have built for track use on a budget over a few years and I'm looking for a second set of wheels to be able to fit slicks to and I'll be honest, I don't have much to buy them with so I was wondering if the Metro ever had a pcd that allowed the wheels to be used on the mini? I have been searching google and various forums all afternoon and I'm finding conflicting information.
The mini has a 101.6mm (4"x4") pcd but I have found information that advises that the Austin Metro has used the same pcd but equly that it has not and I now have no idea! I know the Rover Metro has a different pcd but it's Austin one's I'm after.
I'm looking at the attached;

Anyone with first hand experience that could advise would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Andy.

The search is in the top right corner or you can use google by putting site:theminiforum.

Well, I used the search forum and I've not really turned anything up that clarifies this. Thnks for your info Diligaf, however, this seems to contradict everything that has been said everywhere else I've looked which says the Rover Metro's are 3 3/4" pcd not the 4" of the Mini.

The Austin Metro used a 4x4" PCD so the wheels will fit onto the Mini studs but the offset is a mile out - you would need to use spacers around an inch thick to get wheels back in the right place and to avoid them hitting the tie-bars and radius arms.

The Rover Metro uses the old Triumph 3 and 3/4" PCD. Lord knows who chose that and why it seemed like a good idea at the time.
