On minisport.co.uk they have a alloy tip roller rocker shaft (ratio 1:5:1) and I was wondering if they're any good? If anyone could give me some performance figures or information on them, that would be really helpful:) many thanks James!

They can be useful when specced to work with a performance cam, but can reduce the drivability when used on road car.
They're good for reducing valve train wear because of the roller tip, but the 1.5 and 1.7 ratio versions move the power band of the cam higher up the rev range often for very little gain at the top end.
People seem to gain between 1-3bhp at peak power revs, but lose torque and drivability lower in the revs - Which is where you need the power for a road car.
If you want them to reduce valve train wear go for 1.3 ratio as this will give you those advantages whilst having little effect on the powerband.

I fitted 1.5:1 roller tip rockers to my 1293 'S' with 286 cam and gained 2 bhp at 5700 rpm and above, but lost at the bottom end. They may give a couple of bhp more increase in a less highly-tuned engine.
They don't seem to work well in 998 engines.
