Hi their.
Bought me some Starmag 6x12 with slight stretched tyres from JBW. I know I need to scrap the standard arches and by some stage 2's I'm thinking. Plus Modify the wings.
My question is HOW!!!
Been looking for tutorials or templates for how to cut them back with no joy...
Any help greatly received!!

I've got some pics of how I did mine in this thread: http://www.theminifo...ork-and-wheels/
Doing it the way shown there is best if you can weld, then you can weld up the cuts you've made to give the wing more strength.
The best way of doing it, is to cut into the wing with a grinder and remove enough metal to clear your wheels. Then with mole grips etc bend the wing up to create a new lip and give the wing its strength back. You'll most likely need to touch up your paint after doing this as it'll crack when you bend the new lip.

looking at Mikes pic's that's pretty much how I did mine but if you can weld its a good idea to weld the slices in the lip back together to add some lateral strength to the wing as this gives extra support to the additional arches.
points to consider are - how old is the suspension and how much travel do you have as speed bumps can play havoc with the tyres rubbing on the arches/wings and could damage your new tyres, plus check how much clearance you get on full lock as this closes the gap dramatically
