Quick photo video of some track action yesterday. We had a brilliant time with a lovely drive there and back.

I used to live near the circuit, the locals are the worst bunch (not all but a great many) nimbys you could ever hope for. Move next to a race track then complain about the race track, similar to the reason why Alton Towers had to try to enforce a non screaming policy to appease an influencial family that moved next to the theme park and then started to complain about noise and traffic levels!

Had a great day, even though I didnt get chance to look around the stalls or the stands. Looks forward to seeing some of the photos (if you have any of the silver mighty mini post them up )
For those of you that came for a ride this may bring back memories, for those who didnt this is what you missed. Thanks to everyone who made a donation to the charity, think the total came in at around £3,000.

What a great day it was. Bought myself most of the things I need for my up coming MOT ha. Went round as a passenger in my mates car which was amazing fun. I forgot my camera though so got no pics.

What lense have you got? We got an 18-200 at the moment, its brill around the pits but there isnt really enough zoom for decent close action shots.

Great photos! Surfblue63 is there any chance i could have a copy of a couple? 378 - 383 is me having an off at quarry!

For the shots at Bobbies I used a 70-200, and for the ones on Dean Straight I used an 18-135. Both lenses are Canon, attached to a 500D. The pictures are taken on the largest format which allows for a bit of cropping of shots with Photoshop.
