It's raining. I wouldn't usually mind but today I notice a pretty heavy drip coming from the bottom of the passenger door, over the rubber door seal and into the footwell via the carpet. I guess it's stemming from the hole in the bottom of the door as it lines up pretty much with this - where is this hole supposed to drain to?! I don't really understand. How to stop it coming inside?!

P.S. I replaced my door check arm seals a couple of months ago with foam ones, and last month I took the door cards off and re-duct-taped the access holes in the inner door while I was at it.

Thanks >_<

OK had another look and I think water is making it's way through a small pitted area in the bottom edge of the door. Anyone else had this?

Is the bottom of the door rusty, if so this could be your problem.

Yep! Repair panel? Needs new door outer skin too. Not sure what will be more economical, new doors or to repair/replace it all!

For me i would repair and reskin but then i can weld. Not only that i would be 100% sure all of the rust is removed plus all of the extra protection i would add between the skin and door frame.
