Just a quick one, I'm having digital clocks put into my car & I've been asked to find out what RPM it needs to be set at so it doesn't keep shooting off the clock?
How did I miss "shooting off the clock?"

can anybody help out?
Depends what the issue is, if its the clocks then may need to re-word it as Im not sure whats meant by setting the RPM,
if its the other thing, go see a doctor it sounds painful!

They currently sit at 3500rpm when the engine is idle & goes of the clock once you start to rev the engine

Presumably tick over is set somewhere around 800 rpm
