hi all,

I thought that i would formally introduce myself - Im Dave and ive just brought my first Mini.

It is a 1986 Mini Mayfair. It has been standing for approx 8 years and the guy i have brought this off has trired to get this back in shape, however still needs a lot doing.

I havent really thought of a name yet, however i am contemplating Geoff, just a reminder from an 80's TV commercial.

Anyway im sure ill have lots of posts on here soon, some for spares and some for advice. Take a look at some of the pics below.

Hi..and welcome to TMF and enjoy..............you would need to empty the old petrol out of the tank and pipe line to carb clean carb and do a service....and oil and filter change.......also prime the oil pump by undoing the large banjo bolt abobe starter and pour oil down remove plugs and spin engine over several times and pour more oil down and refit banjo......and plugs and fresh petrol..........
