Hey guys - I have a Twin box side exit exhaust system with polished DTM I am putting on my 1974 998 Mini tomorrow and need some help with the hanger kit. Trying to figure out what rubber bracket goes where.....here is the exhaust I have:

Here is the hardware I have in question:

Is this correct? I have have that double rubber mount upside down? Meaning the ribber part goes to the subframe and the bent hook part goes down? The bolts line up perfectly with the holes which is why I am confused.

that bracket will bolt to the subframe viathe 2 rubbers and the bit with the clip is not needed. for the middle hanger you will need a u clamp and the hook that goes around it and onto the rubber in the middle of the subframe!

Ryan, to make sure I am understanding you correctly....you are saying to use the bracket as picture above and the bracket goes to the subframe? If so, then I am failing to see how the bracket then attaches to the exhaust. As you can see, the bracket does look like it attaches to the exhaust.

Or should I do it like so:

The trianglar bracket, coupled with an exhaust clamp is usually used on single exit pipes. The clamp holding the bracket to the exhaust and the hypotenus side of the bracket faces upwards and the sub frame bobbins go in each corner.

The bracket on the end of yours would seem to eliminate that, and bolt direct onto the rubber bobbins.

Best bet if you're unsure would be to give maniflow a call :)
