Hello Mini racing enthusiasts!

2014 will mark the 55th anniversary of the Mini, and to celebrate this icon of the automotive world, a very special tribute race weekend will be held at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. This race is sanctioned by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, and proudly presented by Seven Mini Parts.

Some of the most famous cars and drivers in North America will be attending, including Doug Peterson in the Fortech Mini, Joe Huffaker, Ted Phenix, John Unsbee Mini, Purple People Eater Minis, the Hot Wheels Mini, and many more. There will also be a "field of dreams" car show in the infield and lunch time parade laps of the race track. This is your chance to see history in motion - very fast motion!

My fiance and I went to the Challenge.

Camped for the weekend. We had a blast.

We met a lot of great people. Meeting the drivers and enthusiasts was like a kid in a candy shop.

There were so many Mini's.

I think the best part was getting to drive on the track.

The 2014 Can-Am Race at Mid-Ohio, which we drove a Mini across the continent to attend, was followed by the 2017 Can-Am Race at Sonoma Raceway (Sears Point) in California's San Francisco Bay area, which we drove 2 Minis to,...the 2019 Can-Am Challenge Race will be at Portland In't Raceway one week after Labor Day weekend during the big All British Field Meet and much closer to home!.
