Do I Paint my 35 in Old English White with a Black roof. Ie; the colour mini I always wanted or stick with the original colour?

also what processes do you have to go through with the DVLA in regards to a colour change and will it affect insurance premiums.

In Old English White, Black roof. Dunlop D1's

Nevada Pearlescent Red, Anthracite Minilight.

itll only affect ins if you go met or flip paint just let them know its been done

as for dvla theres a section on the log book for colour change just fill it in and post it off! i belive that if 70% of the car is one colour thats the colour you put down

imo go for it you only live once

If the paint and body work are in good condition you could have the car wrapped in the colours you want (interior may be more of a problem but there's not too much to do) then if you want to put it back to original just take it off :-)

'the colour mini I always wanted'

Answered your own question. My austin mini is cream with a black roof. It will eventually be getting sprayed white, arches white, wheels silver and roof black

Thanks for the help!

I'm still un decided - The whole white with black roof and D1's was my original plan when I started looking for a project mini but I bought a 35 and there were only ever less than a 1000 odd in that colour, I like the rarity value and I have to say everytime I look out my window I do fall in love with the colour again.

It is the colour mini I always wanted, when I started looking, But as much as I like them in that colour, NPR is a rare colour and everytime I look at it I love it more :P Its only because I was looking at the White mini's thread.

I have a feeling there is a maximum of 10 35's in NPR on here. So fairly rare lol.

I'm changing the colour of my 1275 GT from denim blue to the brightest fire engine red I can find ! Along with white roof with black chequered squares.
It's what I've always wanted so I'm doing it ! So ner ner ner. Do what your heart tells you

Agree with the last part.
Ive ALWAYS wanted a mini in army green, black roof, slightly tined windows, 10'' black alloys and a nodding Mr T on the front dash
