Wheel Arch Size And Type!

hi all i have got 165/60 r12 superlites on my partners mini project which i have just bought.
my question is what size wheel arches do i need? i no i have to cut out part of the front arch, also the rear studs are quiet long there is already a 5mm spacer fitted , should i fit another 5mm spacer then chrome cap nuts? thanks

how wide are the wheels and what is their off set ?

do you have disk or drum brakes up front ?

i have disks up front, the width of the tyre is 170mm the rear is spacer drums with 5mm spacer also fitted i think i need another set of 5mm spacers plus chrome caped wheel nuts that are 17mm deep i believe, as at the moment the stud that is sticking out is around 20mm from the alloy. just need to no what wheel arches would be best.

Pictures would be helpful, but how about the standard rover injection plastic arches. They're about £20 pounds.

think they might be to skinny
the wheels stick out a bit i will need to cut front arches a bit a they are rubbing at the mo

My wheels stick out, I'm sticking with those arches because I like that stance look.

I think Mine are 12x5.5

have u had to cut away ur front arches? my rear wheels stick out a bit as there on spacer drums with a spacer fitted

They clear it perfectly and my front end is very low. I think one of my cones has collapsed :P

Mines the same as Noahs, running 12x5.5s with standard arches, got a bit of poke but no tread can be seen from above

and I have had to trim the front panel edge a little and need to do a bit more as it still rubs occasionally

Thanks all for ur pics and advice I think I may have to go slightly bigger to deal with the rear wheels

minisport.com do fiberglass sportspack arches for around a 100 a set i think... you'll have to take a look. im running Rover original ones with MPI standard minilites. which are 12*5 i thinks. :shy:

Also this looks lovely when you spot it driving down the road. nice and wide without being ridiculous

i have now bought a set of group 5 wheel arches from wood & pickett period style look in black gel coat will post a pick once fitted
