Or try a rover p6 with no p/s! Like trying to move titanic with a cotton bud
Yes, I had a Rover 3500 V8 Auto with no P.S. and it sure was heavy at low speeds. At over about 90 mph it was superb and very easy to place the car through twisty bits. Fabulous car.
The Mini steering has always been regarded as great as it is and not heavy at all. If the steering seems heavy then the Mini is possibly toeing-out too much, or the driver has a strength issue for whatever reason.

thanks for all the help i will look at the links....why is a corsa b power steering twice the price as a corsa c?
do i need the speed sensor...if so...can i just put it to half way and leave it there.....the mrs will get awfully confuessed if she has to alter that as well as change gear, accelerate, brake, mirror, phone, turn radio up, wave at friends....you get the picture

I had a 1991 Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia with no p/s and 17" wheels. Still not a problem. You just have to learn how to maneuver at low speeds. Power steering is a recent thing and has altered how we drive. We can now easily turn the wheels on a stationary car (and scrub the tyres). Thats not really how to drive is it?

all i wanted was a little advice...i must admit though....running 13 wheels with todays tyres is a tad harder than 10's and a big steering wheel...maybe i am just getting old
