It will be hydrolastic suspension so have a check for leaks because that isn't cheap to replace.
I love my metro as much as my mini and when you work on them you realise how much easier it is on a Tro! You won't regret buying one!

Rear arches are very common rust areas so check there carefully. The electrics and heater control is all a bit more complex than a mini so check it is all working before you buy because the dash is really quite annoying to get out. Check cooling and heater pipes aren't too corroded, I had a pipe burst on mine which was a bit scary and the car weed all down the side of itself.

It was only the hydrolastic suspension i would be worried about really, is there a conversion you can do? like on a mini...

Not off the shelf but hydrolastic is fine as long as its in good condition. I love mine, it's so different to dry suspension
Whats the up keep for keeping the hydrolastic in good condition?

I do like the drive of the GTAs but for me it's not a proper Tro ;)
The tro is having a full engine rebuild with 12g940 head, Kent 266 cam, pocketed block etc. so if I do eventually sell it will be a little bit more than its listed for now haha
