I've the same problem and MOT tomorrow, How do I remove the plug going into the airbag ecu? I have the battery and all other plugs disconnected bar this one.

by the way, this is a failure, as in it is on the failure list, but it isn't on the system, so cannot be selected as a reason of failure.

Maybe too late but there is a red lever/lock on the connector, just pull the lever and it will unlock it
