looking at buying a clubby which has "8.2” Disc brakes with Rover 100 master cylinder" would these fit under 12" rims?

8.2" - never heard of any mini brakes of this size so they might be from another car?? Standard mini ones for 12" wheels are 8.4" so they should clear OK as long as the caliper is no bigger than a mini one.....
