Hey Im New Here.. Got This Site Recomended To Me By A Friend Of Mine because Iv Jst Started My Driving Lessons And Would Like To Get A Mini.. For When I Pass My Test... Whenever That Shall Be! LoL!

why dont your parents want you to get one? A lot of my friends are the same, they want minis but their parents come up with the dangerous excuse.
If you want a mini, go get it! It will be the best decision you ever make.

I have the money to buy one... but yep ther coming up with the dangerous excuse and all that C**p!

to be honest, i dont think the dangerous card should be allowed. if you have it show them the pic in minimag a few months ago, with the mighty minis crash - everything was buckled and the shell was a write off, but the driver was unharmed. if your parents feel strongly about your safety, convince them to go out and get you a nice set of bucket seats with harnesses

Have a look through this thread. It may look bad, but that mini hit a wall at 50mph, and you'll notice the passenger compartment was virtually unaffected. Minis are alot safer than people believe, the fact that the haven't got crumple zones and all that modern stuff gives them an unfair bad rep.

Yea i agree i think minis are quite safe to be honest!
but my parents are just lame, and are against me getting any car before i actually pass my exam.. which is i dont know when!
But il get round them... i hope if not i think il... cry :'( hehehe!
Il get a mini... i dont care im not askin them to drive it!
and im only a small girl neway im 5ft2 and my driving instructor pulled up with a peugot 207 for my first lesson... its huge compared to me!
