Hi guys, i have a flip front on my mini and im wondering what method is best a securing it. Currently i have 4 dzus fasteners ( 2 per side ) but due to the carelessness of the person who drilled the holes its a bit of a pig to line back up again. Think screwdrivers in other holes and a right good lift/push.

I was wondering about the use of bonnet pins (flush fit) but not sure where to fit them or if there are lockable ones as currently anyone who fancies it can have a look under my bonnet.
Also my entire arch lifts forward with the front end, flapping around and generally getting in the way, is there anywhere i can buy split front arches from as well?

Cheers all, Chris

you could use hinges at the bottom and bonnet pins at the top would make it easier opening and closing and for the arches just use a jigsaw to cut them in two then sand the edges smooth

Cut the arches with a fine tennon saw. This will ensure you have a straight and thin cut. Any doubts then get a local carpenter to cut then for you. You cannot buy split arches. Good luck.
