Hi People

I have searched previous threads, cant find anything so starting a new one..

I have the chance of getting a 1275 mpi engine & gearbox to go in an a reg 1275 shell.... just wondering if there are any difficulties il run into whilst doing the transfer?? well the mechanic, not me!

Advice appreciated.... also he wants me to make an offer... I have no clue, what would be a cheap but not insulting offer???

Thanks

Are you planning on using it as an mpi ? if your not it wont be any good as it's a different block with nowhere for a distributor.

I dont no what that means lol. I have no knowlege on this.

I have bought a bare shell. and i have a 998 austin mini. the mechanic will be refurbing the shell then transferring everything from my mini over. I wouldnt mind a larger engine, so was thinking about selling my 998 engine and putting something larger in, there are no metro engines around at the moment (near to me) I cant find anything!!

But there is someone selling the engine and all i will need to make the mini mpi. but he wants me to make him an offer.
