Nope, You'll need the smaller disk conversion (cooper s).

Now, I've never done this, but I am given to understand that if you machine the calipers down in the right places you can get 10" wheels on with 8.4" discs.
I think i'll try it sometime when I have a spare caliper to chop about. it's worth a try as 10" wheels do make the car superb to drive, especially the 'works replica' 4.5" Minilites from Mini Spares. They are what I use on my 1964 Historic Rally Car.

Unless you REALLY know what you're doing, any grinding of calipers is quite dangerous as it can weaken them quite a bit...

Just keep that in mind

I personally would never grind down calipers or have them ground as I would never take risks with brakes. I think you'd have to have the disks machined as well (to about 7.9"??). If you want to do it safely minispares do a full conversion kit for a round £300 which includes calipers disks and everything....

Have a look at this post I did when I modded my brakes to fit my Wellers. As far as I know tho, 6x10 Wellers are the only wheels you can get away with using this method because of the big off-set.

I didnt need to mod the disk in any way, just a small area of the calliper.
