Hi, I’m new to this my name is Kara and i own a mini cooper 1997.

It was originally red and my dad did it up for me. It is now metallic pink with pink cobra bucket seats, roll cage, and has compomotive white wheels on it. in 2010 I got a new job and had to commute everyday down the motorway which meant I needed a reliable car. My mini has been sitting there for 2 years and now the seals need replacing and the gear box needs to be replaced. I don’t have the money or time for the up keep of it so it’s not time to sell it. I was just wondering how much i would roughly get for it in this condition? Thought I would ask mini enthusiast as you lot will know better than me! I haveattached pictures of my mini these were taken in 2010.

There is a valuations section, I would put up a bit more info and pics in that section and someone will be able to give an accurate valuation :)

Hi. It's a damn shame you're having to sell your Mini. There's many of us who drive them long distances every day without issues, but I suppose it's all down to personal preference and circumstance.
You Mini looked lovely in 2010, but people will want to see more recent pictures. Get close-ups of any problem areas eg. rust, tears in interior, bumps/scratches.
How many miles has the car done?
What needs doing to the gearbox?
