Bonnet Badge Removal

hi there can anyone help me , i need to remoe the winged mini badge from the bonnet of my mini , can anyone advise how i do this and if i will need to repaint the bonnet after removal

Heat it up a little with an hair dryer, then with a little knife carefully take it off.
Wash the glue resides off with some white petrol.
A bit of t-cut and polish and if you're lucky no paint work needed.

do you know what i use to put new badge on with ?? what type of glue


No need for glue and mess, you can buy a special double sided adhesive foam tape from motor factors that's specifically for the job and you just cut it to size. :thumbsup:

Its for formula 1 tractors :shifty:

Its kerosene basically, works a treatat removing the glue/foam residues and makes less damage than petrol.

Heat with Hari dryer , then floss bewind in smith fishing wier, USD soms sticks stuff remover of similor product to get off glue ,
