I just wanted to find out, as I have nevere worked on rear beam axles, if I was to fit one of these, do I need to run coil-overs or can I still run Hi-Lo's with my adjustble shocks?
All help really appriciated.
Cheers
Bobby

You obviously don't understand what a 'beam' axle is........ It's a radical modification to the rear of the car (whether it is a true 'beam' in the form of a steel tube with hubs on the end, or simply a steel cross-member on the heel board still using the trailing arms. Let me know when you find an Insurance Co willing to cover this modification on a road car........ Both types use coil spring/damper units - with much strengthened top mountings.
My insurance company knows everything on my car
