hi all,just purchased a set of twin 1 1/4 su carbs and wondered apart from the looks what gains would i be looking at on a stage 1 998? im not sure wether to save them for my mk1 replica or use them on my everyday mini.thanks in advance

None at all - the single 1.5" SU on an alloy inlet is better. Sell them !

Nuts to that, I loved driving on twin carbs.

HOWEVER, they must be in good condition / rebuilt. If not they leak air and are generally a pain in the bum to set up. The responce is much nicer, but you can get similar effect with Vizard mods to a standard Hs4, but I still prefer twin carbs.
