I'm trying to get my rear O/S brake drum off, but it would appear that the shoes are catching on the drum and preventing it from coming off. I suspect this because whenever I lever the drum off a little bit, it tries to spring back. Any suggestions?

You backed the adjusters all the way off?
I never got offside and whatever, but front drums adjusters are cam lobes (so you can just keep spinning them), rear ones turn out.

yeah done it now, basically for one reason or another the shoes had got stuck to the drum, so the drum could turn and everything, but when we took it off the shoes came with it... and the wheels cylinder, so kinda hit several birds with that particular stone.
