As above please!

I love the rose petal wheels but was just wondering if you guys had any pics of other possible wheels.

Looking nice!

Thank you.

No spacers, (although the Cooper S rear drums did have a spacer built in), just the 4.5" wheels with 165/70 10 Yokos

Here's mine on 10x4.5 minilites. Original magnesium pre 1967 wheels with groove. Are on standard drums on front with spacers and rear are minifins (spacered) with 20mm spacers extra i think.

Ok cool, what kid of clearance do you guys have from the tyre to the damper? My car runs coilovers and its all a pretty trim fit..

On the rear it's limited room, that's why i fitted spacers, but i run negative camber up rear. Fronts are fine as far as i know even with negative camber.

Yea i will be running both front and rear neg camber, with the coilovers in the rear its all pretty tight!

About how much room do you have from the tyre to the damper?

I will have to check by taking all of the springs off the shocks and seeing where everything sits when bottomed out for the camber.

Err i think i have around a 1 maybe 2 finger gap between the rear shock and tyre wall. You will need to have the camber set correctly first to check clearance and at the height you want to run at for proper judgement. I'm not sure if minis get negative camber just by lowering?

Pffff good question, im not sure either.

I just dont want to buy wheels and tyres and be stuck with something that doesnt fit...145 tyres would be better but the tyre choice is much less in that size and for what the car is required to do really needs as good tyres as it can get....

Yeah i know what you mean. Well most wheels depending on brake setup may need arches but some few don't. I would go for 165 tyres any day but that's my personal choice. 145's are fine on like 4.5" rims i think.

I've got 4.5"x10 MiniLifes with Cooper Offset on my Traveller. 165/70 10 Yokohama A008 tyres. Front brakes are 7.5" Cooper S and rears have spaced Minifin drums. I have KYB Gas-a-Just shocks ad have no clearance problems.

When I had standard drums all round I have 5"x10 Dunlop D1's with 165/70 10 A008's.

If you want a more standard look you could go for 4.5" Cooper S steel rims with hub caps

or perhaps some Rostyles as used on early 1275GTs

Yea, they do look quite nice. My heart is pretty much set on rose petal 4.75" x 10 with 165 tyres... I think its just going to be a case of buying 1 with 1 tyre and seeing how it fits up with my car..i know every mini is different, even more so with the coilovers.

Just have to wait and hope!
