Hey guys. I currently have a red roof on my red mini. To me it just doesnt look right. Also the paintwork has lot of light scratches etc on it. To repaint the roof white Ive been professionally quoted £150 - £175.
Ive also been told about a vinyl sticker. My only concern is the edges of it and not getting into all the edges of the roof. Also because the roof slopes, im guessing the edges of the sticker is going bunch up a bit esp at the corners of the roof. Want it looking perfect!!
Whats your thoughts and is there anyone that does white roof vinyl kit? Ive seen chequered flag kits etc but what about the whole roof?

paint, despite what everyone says the vinyl will fade after time.
good price for the roof, very good. well, as long as the finish is good!!
remember to go for off white, a plain white roof on a mini just looks wrong:P

If I were you, I would definitely get it painted. It will look better, last longer and probably save you money over time - especially at that price.

No it wont, they can shrink it with a heat gun. They can wrap your roof if they can wrap an alloy wheel.Ive also been told about a vinyl sticker. I had the roof on my paul smith wrapped and turned out perfect. You can return back to original
but if you dont want it to go back, I would personally paint as you will get a longer lasting finish.

However, I would say paint it. You can trap moisture under the vinyl which isn't good, and the price for painitng it is more than reasonable if its a decent job.
