I'm guessing probably not, but any ideas how to collect an engine in my mini?

take out the passenger seat and it will go on the floor.
best to put a bit of wood down to strengthen the floor and spread the load.

its heavy man! 150kilos including gearbox. I've moved two engines in my fiesta now and it's best to lay them down so they won't tip over. The car drinks fuel like a binge drinker drinks the laughing juice, acceleration is slooooooow. Just take it easy. You can bend the sheet metal floor of a mini by pushing by hand so definately put wood down, and it may be a good idea to lay it back over the crossmember as that's nice and strong.

If I was to transport it in a mini I'd be splitting the engine and box and then put each half on each side of the rear seat. Then find some way of strapping it to the seat!

it can be done as stated but be very careful that you don't bend the floor!

I took the seat out and made a a little table that sat on the crossmember but had feet onto the front an rear floors.
I straped it down with a ratchet strap from the handbrake over the engine, out throgh the bottom of the door then attached to the front subframe. Worked a treat.
