hey guys, im building a turbo 1963 and the the new engine is in and im in the mocking up stage, ive had to do a further chop on the bulkhead to allow for the 10psi actuator

now im slightly worried about fitting the radiator hose and the turbo air filter so i was thinking about relocating the actautor - not drastically but maybe move it up and inch or so, and use part of the existing mount and mounting holes just modify them
the question i have is will this affect anything ? - if i keep the length of the bar that goes into the actuator the same will i avoid any issues?
cheers

the length of the bar won't make any difference, just make sure the angle it operates at isn't too great so that it still moves freely.
the only thing to make sure on is the amount of preload on the actuator rod, the more preload you put on then the higher your boost level will be.

Mine's next to the carb, just ground the arm off the shaft and rewelded where I wanted it. As Nick says, keep the push rod square to the arm.
