Do 13" wheels just fit on the rear of minis with no problems? because it looks like the gap between the wheel and the closest to the front, bottom bit of the wheel arch isn't enough...

My 13 x 7's fitted with no mods at the back other than fitting sports pack arches to cover the wheel width ways but no issues or mods for the 13 inch wheels

Yes they fit fine as long as the tyres are 175/50/13

No problems fitting 13s to the rear, 165 55 13 tires also fit but give more stretch on wide wheels (and they're cheaper as they are the size used for the Fiat Seicento!)
