Hey,
Does anyone know, or willing to go and measure, what torque the nuts in the boot for the rear shocks need to be done up to?
Cheers,
Dan

I dont think you will be able to get a socket over them will you?
I tightened mini with a spanner, until the bushes where about 5/8 - 3/4 of their original size.
They use a nyloc nut so unlikely to come loose.

Excellent, cheers.
My new ones aren't using a Nyloc one - its just got two that lock onto each other.
It wasn't them coming loose that I was concerned about though; simply whether they'd be tight enough.
Thanks for your reply though - I'll just do them quite tight then :).

The idea is that you create enough pressure on the bush that it doesn't move, but not compress it. Otherwise you'll get knocks, as the mounts will act as if they were solid.

Great, thanks. That makes sense I suppose. Hopefully I've done it right, otherwise the tank will have to come out for the 4th time in 2 days!
Cheers guys.
