It's said that vehicles that are small and make low emmisions will be exmpt from road tax. ;D
Does that applie to are Mini's at all even though most have carb's fitted?

I thought It was only Eletric cars where exempt from Road Tax ;D

Classic Minis is unchanged as it was never done on emmisions.

im not all that keen on these but not bad for £50. i would much rather keep mine original with the steels. your car going to be modified seriously or are you keeping as standard as pos.

Get it right and they might remember!

It has to be constructed before 1st January 1973.

same as. Mine was £110 too and my V11 was sent this month.

So then....as all Minis were made before 1st March 2001, and usually under 1549cc, the rate of tax for a year is £110.00 and six months is £60.50, (except for tax-exempt obviously). In other words the annual rate has gone up a fiver and the six monthly rate by £5.50, but only for engines over 1549cc. Smaller engines have stayed at the same price.

No change since befor the budget, got a year's tax for £110 on Monday.
Turns out that the much heralded tax expemtion applies to only two models - a discontined Susuki hybrid of which there are a whole 200 in the UK, and the Smart diesel which is only available as a grey import.

I'm with Garagstie, my tax last December was £110.
