For your information Mr IT man in my household i am running a virgin 100 meg router, and it is far from slow

it is only this crap site i have a problem with, instead of encouraging immature childlike games

why dont you try and get to the bottom of it, and you may have some more happy members

who wont have to drink more tea, or alcohol HIC, waiting for pages to load

It was just a bit of humour!

There is far more to getting good performance out of a website than what router you have at home. The server isn't under load and doesn't appear to have been since the changes we made to improve performance a week or so ago so I would assume it is something between yourself and the server rather than an issue with the server itself.

It's very hard to tell if you're joking or not :shy:.

As you say, services fluctuate all the time.

If you want to test your connectivity, perform a tracert to www.theminiforum.co.uk and post your results.
