has it located into the runner on the bottom of the glass properly?? and if so is it clear of rust and dirt so it can slide correctly??? also check that the window isnt gettin wedged on 1 side forcing it to go up at angle

How much of an angle? I put my window glasses back in on Friday following a re-spray. I used a single piece runner vs buying the original two piece items, mine had rusted away on both sides so I needed to replace them anyway.

Both of mine go up at a small angle, then seem to correct them selves at the top. Weather they still are on the p*ss a bit and the rubber channel they sit in covers this, but I can still wind the handle more when they meet the rubber at the top. I had to use new rubbers too as old ones were perished.

Assume the glass itself is straight? I tested to make sure the window ran all the way in the new rubber channel using my hand to make sure they located in the grooves all the way to the top. Infact they were so new and tight and could leave the window in them while I messed around getting the regulator inserted into the runners..!
