the code on the end of the cam is 390 in
190 ex .. this was fitted in my old 1380 when i bought this engine the spec listed this as a 276 .. it was built up by longman by the owner that i bought it from ...to help the car top 101bhp ...on last r/r...idle very well. and very smooth..

Just like you, I found absolutely nothing on the net about this cam, but my rough measurements at the office give me:
Lift at cam; inlet 0.290, exhaust 0.300
duration; inlet 280, exhaust 290
That is measuring at start of lift, not the standard of 0.010 lift.
This implies a reasonably close clone of the Kent 276 if not a slightly worn version of the same.
Kent 276:
Lift at cam; inlet 0.293, exhaust 0.315
duration; inlet 270, exhaust 280 (measured at 0.010 lift)
So thanks a lot, I'm a happy camper.
Oh yeah; I LOOOVE the packaging tape.
