Rocker Cover

Will a bog standard steel rocker cover fit on an mg metro engine, or does the mg have too much cam lift?

most rocker covers will fit no matter how hight the cam lift but i no for definate that the standard steel 1 will fit. these were fitted to most low spec metros as standard anyway

I've got a standard rocker cover on my mg metro 1293 with 1.5.1. rockers, clears fine. =]

Quite right to prefer the steel rocker cover - try to get one with a breather ! The MG engine has no higher lift than any other......
