How do I go about changing a rear wheel cylinder, not after a detailed guide just a quick run through.. Thanks

Strip the rear brake out completely - release the cylinder (big clip at rear - use sharp screwdriver(s)) - remove the brake pipe (if you can - best to have a new pipe to hand...) remove old cylinder/fit new cylinder and then connect the pipe to the new cylinder before too much fluid runs out - and then fit the clip, and re-assemble the brake. Free off the levers before refitting......and new shoes if oil has leaked on the old ones.

Job done.......do not forget to take a pick before you start the strip down just in case you forget wich way the springs go round.....

Couple of tips, put some polythene sheet under the reservoir cap and/or clamp the rubber hose to reduce the fluid loss. Turn the old cylinder, rather than the pipe union, to unscrew it - less chance of twisting the pipe.

now thats a good tip ive just done mine the normal way and had to renew the pipes because they twisted DOH

To be fair they are better off replaced if they are bad enough to seize & twist.
