Hi all i'm looking for a suitable cv joint for my (1991) 998 am i right in thinking the 998 cv is different from the 1275 if so are the front wheel bearings different as well as i need them as well
also can you buy sports pack arches as singles or do you have to buy a full set
i also need a steering rack are they all the same
thanks Phil

Nope the joints are the same, they are different for drum braked cars though.
You can buy single arches and the steering rack for your car will be the standard one, although you may need spacers if you have 13" wheels

The 998 CV is smaller on drum brakes. It fits in a sleeve that goes inside the bearings. Do you have discs or drums ? Later steering racks for 13" car have restricted lock - avoid!

Its a 91 car so it should have discs, which use the later large cv joints.

ABS may do them as well, and could be cheaper.
