any body have any piks of the coil and wiring to it on a 998? early starter type cheers.

Pretty sure all you need to know is in the other topics

because it hasnt solved the problem, so eathier the wires are not original or the advise was wrong, so a pik would help a lot more

nothing wrong with the advice.

Only a few ways a coil can be wired

non ballast which I believe you said 1982 so it should be

white for coil positive
white/black coil negative

ballast which is 83 onwards

white/pink and white/yellow coil positive
white/black coil negative

a picture won't tell you anymore

tried it the way you have said and still get nothing, i no going to be a real simple fix just so frustrating, will post a pik up tommorow to show you, thanks for advise

how many wires come out of the dizzy appart from the HT leads on the cap

irostoke there is one, that is already conncted, its the coil wires and the oil switch which giving me a headache lol

for photos you need to show the wire to the dizzy

coil wires

and wires to the solenoid..

basically show anything that looks like a wire
