Is Carlube Good Quality Oil?

As above really. Seen a lot of carlube oils at cheap prices lately, what is the quality of these makes of oil ?

fairly decent for the price but not as good as millers

I've seen quite a lot if it on offer or really cheap on eBay. I've never used it before & I'm looking for a food quality 10w 40 mineral oil for the mini
Might give it a go cheers guys

carlube is good enough,
it will be better than any old oil you take out.
all oil is rated to a certain standard nowadays.
i cannot fault the halfords oil though.
but generally more you pay better it is. make sure its a 20/50 minis like it.
also make sure you get a quaility oil filter
like

Be careful, not all oil is to any standard at all. For example Comma motorway has no defined spec and they won't make any claims for performance (I know, I asked) I bulk buy the comma one in the yellow tub but can't remember the name for the life of me. Look for the spec on the bottle e.g API ratings or euro equivalents.

I've given it a go. & so far it's been ok couldn't find any halfords 10w40 mineral so just went with eBay carlube

My mini uses 10w40 mineral as its an auto. ( much nicer on the clutch plates )
