Hi all,

Got a pair of the bonnet fasteners (spring type) and wondered if anyone had any tips or advice on specifically whereabouts on the bonnet to drill etc.?

Thanks :)

I assume these are only for track use, as they probably have moderately sharp edges, which are illegal for road use, as they are dangerous to pedestrians. My advice is not to fit things like that at all, ever.

Ive got the same springs on the boot of my zr rally car, police have pulled me over and gone over the car a few times to find a defect, as all my insurance, etc was all good and they had no evidence to prove me speeding so got annoyed and checked the car over, they never said anything about the boot springs or bonnet pins.

Well i fitted them yesterday, the edges aren't sharp and I've been to shows and loads of people have fitted them to theirs, I dont see why they should be illegal? Thanks tho :)
