I'm going to do a photoshop in a bit but,

I think I'm staying with rover arches but smoothing the rivetts out and securing with self tappers from below.

Do I paint them to match the car or satin black?

and other recommended colours.

The cars Nevada Pearlescent Red.

I'm also considering painting the centres of my 5.5x12 superlights NPR to match the car. this may be over kill though.

I've just this minute got back from painting up my Miggy's. I was considering matching them to the body but couldn't be doing with a week of painting while the Dulux dried! So they're black, but I have to say I was very tempted to leave them white, which would look very nice on a red car also and not be so generic.

Wheel wise, I'm colour matching mine to the car. It's an often overlooked element and stands out well for minimum effort, I reckon.

Styling choices aside, I wouldn't secure your arches with self tappers as they expose bare metal as you screw then in to the panel and then cause corrosion issues (which is partly why they are fixed in place with rivets in the first place). If you want the arches to be easily removable, then you could use rivnuts instead. If you do insist on using self tappers though, make sure that you use stainless screws and dip the thread of each in waxoyl before you screw them in.

I'd say colour code it's what I'm doing on a car at the moment with smoothed screw holes :)
