it kind of died away in the 90s, although im pretty sure the likes of ian botham and nigel mansel still had one adorning their top lips even then. certainly ian beale has had one come and go many times on eastenders.
so my question is this, when is it going to make a return? it cant be far away now, just about every other trend has made a return, long hair is back now for guys, when i was at school i had a really tragic curly blonde sheep on my head (not for fashion purposes, i was just too lazy to get it cut) and i obviously, and rightly got some stick over it, now i see masses of students with the exact same barnett and it still looks rubbish, but now its cool!
every novemeber i grow one for "movember" raising money for testicular cancer etc. plus i just like having a tache for a few weeks lol!
anyone on here got a tache? (show us!)
anyone fancy growing one for movember?
does anyone else agree that it must be due for a comeback?

It must be a UK thing, the rest of Northern Europe seem to adore the tash. The Germans, Swiss, Dutch and most of Scandinavia all seem to regularly sport upper lip facial hair, but not us. Personally I think that a having a tash makes you automaticly look like a porn star, so maybe that's part of the problem?
Indeed plenty of moustaches over here in Sweden

sometimes it has really backfired on me though, i have had a few funny looks during movembers previously. especially when combined with some of my retro/vintage clothing tastes, some people seem to get it, some people think your just an old perv lol!

Well I used to have one in the early eighties, and as we were doing Goodwood this year the wife suggested I grew one again,so here's a pic for you
how did you manage to get a picture at goodwood without a million other people in it? when we went last year we were shoulder to shoulder the whole time, every picture i took of my missis ended up looking like a school leavers year photo! lol!

I'll try and grow one for Movember again but I always end up looking about 14 when I do
