There were quite a few things wrong with it, and over the last year I have been working my way through and correcting everything, and making some small modifications to bring things up to scratch. One of the first things that needed doing was that the oversills had to go, and lovely fresh heritage panels were welded in. This is the state of the old ones:

The next thing that I wanted to change was the rear suspension which looked like it was on stilts. Before:

After:

I also changed to some period minilights, which required some messing with the drums to get the width correct. First attempt:

Second attempt (spot on!):

And because you have to:

Other changes that I have done since include:
Changing the bumpers to the correct type with over-riders (in stainless steel so they don't rust)
Engine removed and speedo drive rebuilt, so the speedo now works
Headlights rewired as they were totally wrong (halogens so I can actually see at night)
Replaced the fuel tank as it was leaking like a sieve
Replaced the numberplates as they were badly faded
Replaced the front indicators as the orange paint was peeling off
Jobs still to do:
Fit fresh rubber cones and dampers - the originals do not ride well!!
Fit correct metal brake master cylinder
Replace front windscreen as it is badly scratched
I was at the castle combe mini action day and managed to pick up quite a few parts I need, so now its just the time to fit everything.
