Depends on what car, as far as minis go neither of those would be my first choice

Car and Classic
Classic cars

Then Ebay
Then Pistonheads
Then maybe Autotrader

Mixed in with some trovit and a bit of gumtree if I'm feeling daring (stupid)

:D

Ebay for ease of use.

Piston heads
then autotrader.

If I was on the look out for a mini it'd be that order.

Auto trader doesnt seem to be as busy as it used to be several years ago. Piston heads now charging and ebay doing classified ad's
I just use Ebay!

if your looking for a classic car the local paper is as good as any where

if you buy through the likes of pistonheads you have to also pay the scene tax

In this order for Old Minis and other old rust buckets
Ebay (Some times I look at Italian Ebay and US Ebay when I'm dreaming)
Car and Classic
Classic cars
Local Dealers Web Sites (within 100 mile radius)
Auction Sites (H&H, Anglia car Auctions etc etc)
Autotrader (Rover Mini)
Pistonheads
Gumtree

For daily drivers
Autotrader
Ebay
Gumtree

I always wanted one :shifty:

Back on topic :D it all depends on the type of car your after, bargain time is Ebay, quality time is CC's of C&C, Pistonheads for when ebay doesnt have the model you want and like Bungle said alwayssss keep an eye on your own local paper!!!

Actually, if I was after a Mini, I'd probably check this place first! If I was after another classic, I'd probably check out Car and Classic and then look at specialist forums as well.

But generally out of the two, I will check AutoTrader first.
