whats the best way of achieving a long wing aerial ?
just style wise - I kinda like the look of massive aerials
I spotted this on here -

Ive seen something similar in Maplins, with either a magnetic mount, or a wind (hole) fixed mount. I was thinking I could unscrew the aerial when I dont want it on, but is there a better method ?
I dont want to start drilling holes in my roof.
OR - do they just do an extra long standard wing aerial or some description ?
ideas ?
