I went for a test day a couple of years back on a very wet day and we were doing a 2 lap timed sessions
You just have to find the grip levels yourself really as it changes
The first long sweeping left you have to hold your nerve and keep it neat else you will loose grip and time. The next chicane use the rumble strips to get the right line, and the last corner i found to go in slow and you should come out quicker but its a difficult one to get the line right

Super little track and huge fun. I did it with the DDK (early Porsche) group and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were probably overpowered and a mini should be be ideal.

Go there without any pre conceived ideas. It is a fun circuit and you can take it at whatever level of aggression you are happy with.

Enjoy!

Just make sure you use your first runs to learn the track, it's no good going flat out the first time and having a problem, I've been hillclimbing and sprinting the Mini this year and have taken nearly 10 seconds off my times a Wiscombe Park, above all have fun!

It can get very greasy if damp. It's a brilliant little track and great fun.

yerh ok i think i will take it like a grandad for the for the first few attemps just to get the jist and used to it.
My minis a standard 998 just with some new 12x6 tyres so prob wont go to hard on it. so wont be getting super quick Times :P going with two mates who have a 1.1 pug/ and a 2.0 Clio sport. so would be good to see some diferances :-)

and i hope next Sundays Dry then! haha

Curborough in the wet, nice.

The first long left into the right is key to a good time, you need lots of confidence to take it at speed. Build up to it slowly, but on the limit it's a fantastic couple of corners.

You'll have to ask the organisers, probably not though.
