Bought myself some 10x6's! :D

They arrived all shiny and pristine and after furiously unpacking them I noticed they didn't look quite the same as my 12x6's, aside from the diameter.
The dish is much smaller comparitively, of course from a larger + offset.
But I'm sure I've seen 10x6 Revo's with a deep dish, which is what I was expecting.

So, am I going mad? Did I imagine deep dish 10x6 Revo's?
I can't find (even on the revo website) any listing of different offsets.

Any ideas/help?

I have a full set of original 10x6 Revo's. They do not seem to have a deep dish so I think your new ones are just a good copy:)

But I havnt seen any other deep dish 10' Revo's. Apart from some rare 7x10 ones a friend has got. Only has two though..

Fair enough, they have revo stamped on the front of the spoke so they're the real deal (or massively infringing on copyright! :P)

Seems I'm not looking for 10x6 revo's after all. Nuts. >_<

Oh well, off to the for sale section it is.

Cheers fella.

Essentially, same as I have but slightly smaller :P

10x6 Revo with a deep dish. I see revolites have said dish but also noticed a couple of posts regarding their quality.

There's no rush, current tyres have some life yet.

Yeah, for a price! O_O

I might have a look round for some Revolites, same style as I with the dish. I'm not a snob when it comes to brand names.

10" revolites have a bad rep on here, for not being able to fit tyres onto them. :ohno:

Not saying I wouldn't like a set, if you're growing bored of them.

I hear it's only 10x6's that are affected, not sure.

I bought a set of 10x6 Revolites from a company that supplies wheels in the Midlands and I was not able to fit a second set of tires on to them. Apparently, the design of the rim itself was flawed and a tire can not be stretch over it safely. I read that wheel supplies company, in the midlands, heat up their tires before putting them on, which could damage the bead without knowing. It was money down the drain for me and I had to buy a new set of wheels elsewhere. I live in Canada so I wasen't about to send my wheels back to the midlands wheel supplier to have them fit tires to it. If you are near though, and you don't care about safety, you can give it a go.

They are now in the garage waiting to be used as endtables.

Looks like this brand new

can you not just fit the tyre from the back?? the reverse steel wheels are both standard cooper wheel parts just with the rim swapped around, giveing a bigger offset:P

From what I remember that was told to me. Usually the lowest part of the rim, when viewd from the side, is made so it offsets to one side, but theirs is in the center and very narrow.

I've taken the wheel to a few very specialist tire shops and one who only fits tires, from 10s to 30s. They've tried everything, you can't even dismount the tires, you had to cut them off. They tried it with a machine and by hand. They ripped one yoko a032r and a pair of Falkens and I gave up at that point and bought another set of 10s. Everyone else in my car club who are on 10s had no problems having tires fitted. Just my MWS 10x6 revolites.
