I have an SPI which collowing K.Calvers details is now a carb (hif44) car but I want to get rid of the ECU ,Memory module and associated wiring.Can I use the electronic dizzy 65THD4 Lucas as the advance is controlled by the flywheel sensor and ECU I believe.Or doI use Lucas 65DM4 and matching coil.The engine is12AZEF77286314

The SPI's is not really a dizzy more a spark distributor, best to go with a dizzy from a MG metro. Not sure of numbers with out looking them up, make sure you either go back to a manual petrol pump or use an adjustable pressure regulator if you retain the injection pump.
