Well here is the deal ladies and gentlemen. I own two Minis and I would like to own 3. Wifey vetoed that and said I can only have 2. I want to buy a Riley Elf. I am currently in Germany but in December I will be going back to the United States. Whichever one sells first I will keep the other one and get a Riley Elf or a Hornet. Here are the specs on each of them.

1972 Leyland 1275 GT

Had not been registered or ran since 1977. Was originally used as a rally car but the engine was blown and replaced with an 1098 from a clubman estate. The owner never got the car to run and it sat in a garage for all this time. I have owned it for over a year and with the help of friends, it now runs quite well with a 1275 motor from a 1971 1275 GT. Below are the specs:

Engine and Trans-

1275 from a 71 1275GT, but with rod change transmission
light port and polish on the head
Aldeon Coil
Aldeon Distributor
New Plug Wires
New Dynamo
New water and Oil Pump
HS4 Carb with MiniSport Stage one kit (Intake, LCB, K&N Filter, header back exhaust)
New Clutch Master Cylinder
New Slave Cylinder
New Clutch Line

Suspension-

New Stock Cones
Adjust-a-ride
KYB Gas Adjust Shocks
Adjustable tie rods
1.5 degree negative camber lower arms.
rear camber plates (not installed yet)
Front Poly bush kit

Brakes-Stock but in good condition

Wheels-10x6in Ultralights with Falken tires, like new

Interior-Stock interior, no rips or tears in the seats. Carpet is original and needs replaced. Tach and fuel gauge do not work, but hopefully will tackle that this weekend.

Exterior-I bought the car because it doesn't have the rust that most Minis have. It was in very good shape. It has a small bit of surface just under the gutter at the seem above the windshield and a little in the gutter on the back right hand side. Neither of which is is through. It also has a decent dent in the left side fender where something sat against it for 25 years. The paint is the original color other than the boot and bonnet which are satin black.

Lights-The two upper fogs are hooked to the brights and the two lower are hooked on their own switch.

If there are any other questions please feel free to ask.

The other one:

1979 Leyland Mini 1000 Pickup

Engine and Trans-

stock 998
HS4 Carb with Stage one kit (Intake, LCB, K&N Filter, manaflow exhaust)

Suspension-
Stock, but I have Hi-los and spring conversion for it just need new shocks.

Brakes-4 wheels drum

Wheels-stock 4.5x10s in white

Interior-Stock interior has been redone. Single Speedo Has Cobra classics in it right now, but I have the original seat but the drivers seat has fallen through and needs a new netting. Otherwise in great shape.

Exterior-It has one spot of rust where the paint is bubbling under the right tail light. It has been resprayed in blue (Dont know the exact color) but it is ok. It looks like it was painted outside because when you look close you can see the dust imperfections on it and there is some pitting on the doors where it looks like it was not filled after sandblasting. You have to look close to be able to see it. Carpets are new and in good shape.

The GT is a left hooker but tax free i take it?? Value if its not full of pug and tin worm could be somewhere in the £2.5k to £3.5K.

This is taking into consideration its a left hooker. It may be worth more but unless some other pictures are posted of the interior, engine bay and also pictures of the scuttle area etc then its difficult to judge.

It would take a few quid to convert it to r/h drive (that is if it is l/h drive) but not a huge amount.

The pickups are very popular and should fly out of your hands. I have seen these go for stupid money with more holes in than a tea bag.
Has it got a MOT?? this will help.

Again some more pictures would help, the area of rust, the interior and engine bay. Also what wheels would it be coming with???

GT looks to have the original interior too and is tax free. If the condition of the structure is good then 4 - 5 K
