I want to lower my mini an inch or so with hi lows, I've kyb gas a just dampers at the moment can I use these or will I need lowered dampers? Thanks

An inch shouldn't make much difference I'd have thought.

should get away with that. only really need short ones if its slammed Jap style on the bottom stops.

I've got gas a justs with hi lows, they're fine.

if your concerned lower a inch mark the dampers take off and see you still got plenty
more movement not bottoming out

inch should be ok tho

make sure your bump stops have at least 3/8 gap

Despite popular belief... "lowered shocks" only help in stopping the suspension falling apart when on full droop.
As the mounting points stay as original: they are no 'shorter' when compressed than a standard one.
So: assuming bump stops are in place, standard shocks wont 'bottom out'...

Lowered shocks have a shorter travel, so that on full droop the trumpet and rubber spring dont fall out...which is more of a problem on the rear...
